Babies born to mothers who took antidepressants during the second
trimester were more likely to be born earlier than other babies,
according to a study published in the
American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology. The risk of seizure was
also higher in newborns whose mothers took selective serotonin reuptake
inhibitors during the third trimester.
