HBOT and TBI

From the Journal of Neurosurgery and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (3/19):

"Researchers at the Hennepin County Medical Center, University of Minnesota, and Minneapolis Medical Research Foundation (Minneapolis, Minnesota) report that the combined use of hyperbaric oxygen and normobaric hyperoxia therapies provides better outcomes in patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) than the standard intensive neurosurgical care recommended for this injury. Full details on the effects of this combined treatment are provided in the paper "A prospective, randomized Phase II clinical trial to evaluate the effect of combined hyperbaric and normobaric hyperoxia on cerebral metabolism, intracranial pressure, oxygen toxicity, and clinical outcome in severe traumatic brain injury. Clinical article," by Drs. Sarah and Gaylan Rockswold and colleagues, published online, ahead of print, in the Journal of Neurosurgery..."

From HealthDay News (4/8):

Children and teens, particularly boys, who ate more than three times a day weighed less than those who had three or fewer meals, according to a Greek study in the journal Pediatrics. Higher frequency eating was also tied to a 22% decline in the odds of being overweight or obese, researchers said.

Unlabeled aspartame in milk?

From Mercola:
"The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) have filed a petition with the FDA1 requesting the agency “amend the standard of identity” for milk and 17 other dairy products. This was done to provide for the use of any safe and suitable sweetener as an optional ingredient — including non-nutritive sweeteners such as aspartame to deceive you by not having to indicate its use on the label."
