From The Wall Street Journal (5/16):
The CDC announced a new lead poisoning standard that lowered the
threshold for children younger than 6 from 10 micrograms to 5 micrograms
of lead per deciliter of blood.
Although the impact of the revision remains unclear, the standard could
increase the number of children with high levels of lead to as many as
450,000.
