Imaging reveals abnormal brain connections in ADHD
A study in the journal Radiology that used resting-state functional MRI
revealed that children and teens with attention-deficit/hyperactivity
disorder have disrupted brain
connections in the orbitofrontal cortex and the globus pallidus.
Researchers compared rfMRI results of 33 boys between 6 to 16 years old
with 32 healthy controls.
