Sleep apnea linked to learning, behavioral problems

Data from the Tucson Children's Assessment of Sleep Apnea Study involving 263 children in Arizona showed greater parent-reported hyperactivity, attention and communication problems among those with obstructive sleep apnea. These children were also more likely to have school grades of C or lower, according to the study in the journal SLEEP.
