Sleep Problems?

Difficulty falling asleep, night waking and early waking can be a nightmare for parents and other family members. Sleep deprivation is a problem for your child as well, as his/her developing immune system. Here are some suggestions for helping sleep problems:

·        Protein in the morning and carbohydrates in the evening
·        Dark at night, light during the day
·        Magnesium and Calcium
·        5 Hydroxy Tryptophan (5-HTP)
·        Melatonin
·        Herbs such as Chamomile, Milk thistle (silymarin), Kava Kava and Valerian
·        Exercise
·        Calming bath with baking soda, Epsom salts and lavender oil.
