In addition to other uses, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has been shown to decrease inflammation due to head trauma and post-concussive injuries. HBOT is the medical use of oxygen at a level higher than atmospheric pressure. It significantly increases the partial pressure of oxygen in the body tissues and promotes increased oxygen transport capacity of the blood. By increasing the amount of oxygen rich blood, HBOT stimulates the body to release substances that promote healing.

We have a hard chamber unit in our CT office and soft chambers available for home rentals. If you are interested in HBOT, please call Dr. O'Hara or Dr. Szakacs at 203-834-2813. For more information and articles on HBOT visit our website at: http://ihealthnow.org/Hbot.html
