The risk of food allergy was greatest among children who were exposed
to more antibiotics during the first year of life, a case-control study
showed. Receiving one or two antibiotic courses did not substantially
raise children's food allergy risk, researchers reported at the American
Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology meeting.
